Great, fresh, fun. I love it. Would love to play it. I'm an upcoming actor, and to play this movie would be a thrill. Great writing.

Amazing screenplay.

This script grips from the word go, and does not let up. Non stop action with a great noir twist at the end. Excellent. I hope the film is as good!

Wooooah, quite a quick release. I love this damn website.

That's great. Julian Lyons is an up and coming actor, which is much better than a no name actor, who has no plans of stardom. Someone tell me the difference between up and coming and having no career? Script felt like True Romance, but the dialog just lacked that punch for me. I just had a hard time caring for any of the characters or remembering who was who. Plus plot twist was weak. I can say this because I am an up and coming screenwriter.

This was a great film. I have to say thought that this script is a lot different than what happens in the movie. This must have been one of the first drafts because some of the plot changed dramatically and for the better.

It was a divine sickness, very well played by the actors and well written. It takes time to write a good movie and I believe this was one of those movies. Okay it isn't all that great but it was GOOD.

Whiz! Bang! This is a great example of the "dumb but fun" screenplay. Let's face it, most of the characters are either two-dimensional or just preposterous, the plot "twists" are asinine and a lot of the dialogue sacrifices realism for a callow wittiness that's pretty transparent. Nonetheless, the action scenes are worth studying and the pacing of the whole screenplay really shoots you along. That's really its saving grace: like a curvaceous blonde, it's sleek enough to distract you from its stupidity. Just remember that there's no such thing as an easy screenplay to write and Joe Carnahan probably wasn't going for an Oscar here.

Lots of action but a bit hard to follow. Most of the characters are pretty flat but I guess that's one of the hallmarks of an action flick. I kept getting confused as to who was who and what the hell they were doing at a particular time. Also, some of the details don't ring true. Ex-military types will not be carrying Colt. 380's! They'd be packing Colt. 45's at the least. Also Barrett's don't go to full auto. They're either single shot bolt rifles or fed from a 10 round mag on semi-auto. This ain't nitpicking to people who know. Still, I congratulate Joe on getting it done. The story has some ingenuity. I hope he makes a lot of money!

Steven has it right. This screenplay is a fun read but overall the story lacks everything, no real character and the twist at the end does not make the movie any better, in fact, it makes it worse.

It's bloody that good.

The movie was pure crap. I can't believe people are dumb enough to like such pointless drivel.

Smokin aces delivered a oscar winning performance by Jeremy Piven. Excellent script, directing and first class acting by common. Recommend to anyone.

Saw this last week and it was AWESOME! It had lots of intense crazy action and I absolutely LOVED the big penthouse assault during the last 4 and a half minutes, THAT PART WAS RIDICULOUS.
